The Army of Light ("Guild, AoL, AL, ArmyLight, or any other known abbreviation") provides this service to you, subject to the following Terms of Service ("TOS"), which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. In addition, when using our websites you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services which may be posted from time to time.

The Army of Light provides user’s access to Services (Forums, Images, Wikis, External Websites, and Multimedia Sites, such as Youtube) that may contain content not suitable for children under the age of eighteen years old. All information (also known as content) will be related to the Game ‘Star Wars: The Old Republic’ (MMORPG, parent supervision is advised), which contains Sci-Fi Fantasy, Sexual Content, Mature Language, and possible reference to Drugs. Information may also be derived from the standard MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) terminology, which may contain Sci-Fi Fantasy, Sexual Content, Mature Language, and possible reference to Drugs. As a registered member of the guild, you will, on occasion, receive communications from our Administrative Department via the Email Address you registered with your account. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new features that augment or enhance the current Service shall be subject to the TOS. You understand and agree that the Service is provided "AS-IS" and that The Army of Light assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalization settings. In addition, you must provide and are responsible for all equipment necessary to access the Service.

Access to any Guild (The Army of Light) Web site is limited to viewing the linked Web pages solely to access the information provided by The Army of Light at its Web sites. Any access or attempt to access other areas of the Army of Light computer system or other information contained on the system for any purposes is strictly prohibited. ACCESS TO THE SITE
You may only use our site if you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and can enter into binding contracts (users under the age of eighteen are required to have parent consent before access any part of our sites). You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords, login and account information. You will be financially accountable for all use of our site by you and anyone using your password and login information. BIOWARE'S NDA AGREEMENT
NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreements) are often required to participate in any form of testing for developers or manufacturers. All users of the Army of Light Web sites are required to honor those agreements by not posting material on our services that would violate those agreements. Any post that violates this policy will be removed immediately and without warning. The continuation of posting Material (Also known as Screenshots, Images, Audio, Quotes, or any other method of conveying information) will result in a punishment from the guild's services.

ADDITIONAL TERMS - AS OF DECEMBER 23rd, 2012
I USER ACTIVITY
All users of the Army of Light's services are hereby expected to agree to an Account Activity Policy. All users must agree to maintaining (and therefor updating) an account at least once every month, starting on the first day of each new month. Maintaining an account includes that you at least post one general topic or comment on the Army of Light's forums (Service), and to keep all profile fields (Service - Forum User Accounts) accurate and updated. Any user that will be on an extensive leave, and therefor not have access to any of the Army of Light's Services, are hereby expected to inform the Army of Light's Administrators and/or Additional Members by creating and posting a Notice of Leave within our Forums*.

II USER ACCOUNT ACCESS
All users of the Army of Light's services are hereby expected to keep all account (Service) information (Username, Password, Security Questions, IP Address(es), Password Hints) private. No user of the Army of Light Network may allow, and/or sell Login, and therefor additional Login, information. All accounts are IP Traceable***, and any account suspected of granting another user/person access will have there account suspended until further notice by the Army of Light's Administrators.

III USER CONFIDENTIALITY
All users of the Army of Light's services are hereby expected to keep all Private Information (Anything posted/created by the Army of Light) a secret. At no time may information about the Army of Light be shared, posted, copied, and or sold. Any use suspected will be suspended until further notice by the Guild Administration.

IV SMS SERVICES

• Your carrier’s standard messaging rates apply to your acceptance, our confirmation, and all subsequent SMS correspondence and/or transmissions. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider.
• We will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile service operator. SMS MESSAGE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” BASIS, AND WE MAKE NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
• By using this service you may have access to various content. You should assume that everything to which you have access through this service is subject to copyright and trademark protection, unless noted otherwise.

*General Membership will be required to post an extended leave notice (Notice of Leave) within the forum (Service) "Leave Of Absences (LoA, LOA, Leave)". Within the notice should include an estimated time (ET) of said leave, and reason (if applicable) for the leave. Any Trial Membership will be required, should the account not have access to the "Leave of Absence" forums, to submit an extended leave of absence notice to the guild's main Administrator (**The Grand Master, GM, Guild Leader). Included must be the same elements as a standard Membership notice.

**The Main Guild Administrator shall henceforth be, due to the nature of the foundation of this guild (Collection of People with a common interest), Jephos Mispir (founder 2010). However, in the unlikely event that the Main Administrator fall ill or cannot take on due responsibilities due to any other cause, the guild Administrators shall take his place as for governing the community. The acting head during his leave will be determined either by himself or on a vote within the Administrator Forums (Service). In the case of an expected Leave, the Main Administrator shall hereby post a notice on leave in such ways that are outlined in "Additional Terms I, Member Activity".

***The Army of Light, as a security precaution, as the ability to track and log any/all IP addresses. An IP address informs the guild Administration of where a user account was last connected from. THE ARMY OF LIGHT DOES NOT/CANNOT TRACK AND/OR ATTAIN PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM AN IP ADDRESS. ONLY GUILD ADMINISTRATORS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THIS INFORMATION.


ADDITIONAL TERMS - AS OF NOVEMBER 22nd, 2011
III FORCED REMOVAL FROM THE ARMY OF LIGHT
A.1 - Basis for Removal
Should any member or recruit of The Army of Light propose a threat to internal affairs, morals, beliefs, or other members of the guild, or to external affairs, then his/her's continued membership status may be up for re-evaluation by the High Council.

A.2 - The Discussion of Removal by the High Council
Should the High Council choose to re-evaluate a membership status, then a formal discussion will take place in their forums. Member contributions, overall attitude, past disciplinary actions, and many other aspects will be discussed at length. Following the discussion will be a poll that the High Council will have in their forums.

A.3.1 - The Vote for Removal of Membership Status
Once the High Council finishes their discussion, a poll will open up in their forums, asking whether or not a member should keep or lose his/her membership status. All High Councilors must take part in the voting process. A minimum of 2/3rds vote by the Council is needed to remove a member; anything less will not result in membership removal.
A.3.2 - Should the Poll Not Call for Removal
Should the Poll come to be where the member will not lose his/her membership, then other actions up to and including a temporary suspension will be into place for a period of time as decided by the High Council. In the case of suspension, all services by The Army of Light will become unavailable. After that period, the member will gain access to said services.

A.4 - Terms of Loss of Membership
If the High Council decides to remove a member, they will lose all access to any and all parts of The Army of Light's services, including but not limited to Ventrilo, Xat, and the forums. The member may not be allowed to re-apply to the guild, and all guilds that we have a formal alliance with will be notified of his/her removal.
